Mmm, very awkward for Deirdre, certainly. She's a wily old fox (sorry, but sometimes you have to...) but Sabia isn't going to be a pushover even for her by the looks of it. Sabia seems to have extracted more information from her than most others could have done, and you do wonder what use (actual or merely suggested) she might make of it...
Deirdre's not in the best of situations here, I agree. Though I don't think she'd mind being called a "wily old fox" in the least. That's a more flattering appraisal than she'd give herself! As for Sabia, well all I'll say is you'll have to wait and see. But she's quite a clever old cat, herself.
