I may have quite a cast of characters, but I didn't have a character who represents myself, a fursona, until today. So... meet Mandel Brood (the "oo" should be pronounced as the "oa" in "boat). He's a hybrid between a border collie and a horse, or a "puppony" as he'd describe it. Although he's often seen in his biped form, he's actually a taur, something that only his family and close friends knew until recently. He wears a collar with an enchanted pendant; if he turns it around upside-down, he can switch to his other form.

Having a mixed heritage due to his hybrid form has it's advantages and problems. He's thankful that he doesn't have to rely on meat, and prefers for moral reasons to eat more vegetarian, even though there are quite a few vegetables he doesn't like. He also inherited a good sense of smell, and his mix of dog and horse anatomy of his taurso makes him fast for his size. However, his predator and prey backgrounds do clash sometimes; he's easily startled, and not particularly strong, and his hooves make him terrible at sneaking up to somebody.

He can only switch between his biped and taur form by himself, but he'd love to try other shapes as well. He's in particular interested to try out a mer or a naga body, but he'd need someone else to perform the transformation on him.
