Most clothes made of cotton and nylon were just fine for everyday wear, but leather? That's often considered a premium component in fashion. And not that fake biopolymer stuff seen in most fashion outlets. Real leather, from a real animal. Or, at the very least, leather made from lab-grown hides. There's a distinct, quality feel real leather has that simply can't be mimicked in any other way. Quality things weren't always a part of Zosma's life, so the ones she does have she tends to take good care of and wear frequently. It also helps that she tends to look good in it, too.

As for how she ended up in this shot, it was a simple matter of someone she ran into at a tourist lookout that was enamored by the classic 'greaser' look of mid-20th century America in the 33rd century. What was the harm in indulging a rosy-eyed passerby?

What can I say? Zosma has good yet simple tastes in fashion. I've always imagined her regularly in casual leather outfits like this - not because it makes her look 'tough' or 'intimidating', but simply because she knows it's something she'll look and feel good in, and that it will last her for a good long while. The whole "greaser" look wasn't her intention, even if she's lacking the 'grease' part, but she isn't complaining.

Speaking of, I finally got another wishlist artist off my checklist. I managed to snag a stream doodle slot from  MainLineMOJO and watch this get drawn up. I love how it turned out! Then again, it's not hard to make my limederg look nice :3c
