One of the intelligent races that inhabit Sanyahona, they are creatures that, in human terms, we could call "dragons". In Sanyahona they have another name. They are bipedal, with anthropomorphic morphology but closer to feral. They have wings and can fly in the dense atmosphere of the planet. The females are smaller than the males and their civilization has a development equivalent to the human Victorian era. They are the dominant species rivaling in development with the Tarunel.
This is a wonderful sketch of a male "dragon" made by

That has been a headache for me. Because I must explain it rationally. And after years of thinking about the subject of fire, I decided that only some can breathe fire and others cannot. And that is due to an alcoholic secretion produced by glands in the throat in muscular bags that accumulate gas. And the ignition is produced by the spark of two specially hardened molars for that.
Hmmm. Before I scrapped my old story with all the other races, my logic was elemental kinesis that each race is attuned to.
Essentially they're furry benders, able to control elements based on their body composition. I say don't limit yourself always to the reality you see,
because those rules can be broken and we don't know how much of "reality" is set in stone. Instead, set the rules of your characters' or their world's reality.
But that's just me ^ ^

Yes I understand. I am too rational. For me, there must always be a foundation for everything, even when using magic or manipulating the elements. I am a fiction writer more than fantasy, and the difference between fiction and fantasy is that in the latter, supernatural powers are used. (Not in fiction). And Sanyahona is a fiction story. For example, dragons can fly thanks to the denser atmosphere on the planet. Pulaks are large and heavy ursids because gravity is greater.
