if you like exploring old stuff and taking pictures, id like to suggest you take a drive out US224 west to a place just west of Nova Oh.
The house will be on your left(south side of the road). Its an old abandoned home with some spectacular shots if youve got the will to explore it. I thought about going deeper, but there is no cell reception and I figured if I fell and got hurt, I couldnt call for help, so I left figuring id find someone who could find a buddy and explore. While I had my mom with me at the time, if I did fall, she would never be able to pull me out. Its got a barn that is totally falling apart(wouldnt suggest going in their). The gingerbread on the side of the house is nothing short of awesome. Its got a flying spiral staircase(something youd only see in a really old and rich house), two staircases, a widow's walk(didnt go up there, because im not sure the roof staircase was safe). The house has some amazing potential if someone had the money to fix it up, but with the deterioration as it is, it would easily cost 200 grand just to get started.
Its impossible to miss from the road. After you pass "smoke Rise Kennel" on your right, it will be on your left. If you pass county road 1281, youve gone too far. Id suggest bringing rope, a lantern, and a flashlight and doing it during the day(so the lights wont attract attention) I dont know who it belongs to, but I do wonder if it has any interesting history. Also, if you park your car, there is a culdesac driveway, so you can pull in the back and park where absolutely nobody would see your car from the road.
