For quite a while now I have only had two rats, the last two of the "original rat pack", Pip & Snoopy...they are bro & sis. Obviously, they have to stay in separate cages since well...they don't care that they're bro & sis and wouldn't hesitate to make more rats lol. Rats are so social though, and I know they were lonely.
I recently adopted two more girls, Elwyn & Talespin, to be companions for my Pip. Just yesterday I also adopted two little boys, Merlin & Arthur! I am slowly introducing them to my other boy, Snoopy. They are SO tiny, so the introduction is a little slower than it was with the girls (who are all adults) Snoopy really seems to like them though!
PS: Yeah, Merlin obsession is to blame for their names lol. They almost look exactly alike, but Merlin has two spots on one side while Arthur has more of a sword shape marking along his back with an extra spot at the base of his tail lol.
