If you ever want to get tips on 'particle effects', go analyze Cerberus's stuff. He streams every once in a while, too. Crazy crazy stuff. He goes forward a frame, back a frame, etc, and gradually fills it in.

I've watched most of his flashes, but never really seen particle effects that often. Possibly because I missed them. Maybe I should go back to his gallery to take a second look.

His streams? Everytime he organises a stream, it is really early in the morning at my time. I missed his last two streams because of this... darn time zones...

Or maybe I should watch old avatar episodes and start studying the physics (and awesome martial arts) of their animations. I heard they taught their animators basic martial arts to animate them properly. If I'm not wrong, each 4 elements are based on a different martial art style.

His last two flash projects were one with breath of various types that I peeked in on him streaming a few times, and one with a city stomping loop that had a big smokey whoosh behind the creature.

Mind if I animate your fursona? My character design imagination is in the dumps.

Hmm, i'd was thinking of an element of haven't animated... I want to try all 4 of them.
And I'm really beginning to doubt that your character is a guy. The ponytail really doesn't help. Can you clarify?
And I don't really need such detailed references, as I'm merely going to do a quick sketch only. No color, just similar to what I've done previously.

LOL Yes, my char is male. Not even 'girly male' either, just with long hair. I've got really long hair IRL too.

And, air or earth, neither would really suit me too well. But I could suggest a flight type effect for whatever air character you do, creating clouds under him as he rises up.
