LauraGarabedian was a surprise discovery at RMFC last year. An awesome person, I even got to have dinner with her and some other friends/artists at the end of the con, so I can say that with some authority. ;) Laura's style and breadth is really quite impressive. On-par with a favorite artist of mine, Nancy Chien-Eriksen. So, don't let the relatively simplicity of this sketch fool you -- go check out Laura's gallery, and check out her stuff. I hope to get a full commission from her in time for RMFC. :)

Back in August, Laura started doing this neat sketch commission game -- you pay her a little money, and supply a character. She picks a word at random from a list, and sketches your character with that word as the theme.

The word for Aram was: "potion". I sorta wish it was a growth potion, but I didn't know what the word would be 'til the piece was done. It was fun to get sketches of my characters in this way, though. :)
