I've been really wanting to do one of these in Gen 9 since it came out, so I played through all of Violet with just a Dachsbun named Burny (because he's fresh out of the oven, he'll burn your tongue :3).

As for how the playthrough went, it like most of the other ones I've done went really well, and as for what kind of route I took to level up and beat the game, I ended up taking the west path up Paldea and focused solely on trainer and raid battles for a while and completely ignored the story stuff until I hit level 60, and by that point I was doing pretty much all of my grinding in raid battles as well as overworld battles and encounters with Chansey and Blissey, and I also decided at that time to rush all the gyms to get the lucky egg to make getting to level 100 easier. Once I hit the early 80s, I thought I was ready to do the league, but I (unsurprisingly) got destroyed by Poppy, so I grinded to level 100 and came back to sweep them all, and I hadn't done any of the other story quests yet, so I spent the rest of the game just going through all of them all the way to the ending. So yeah, other than grinding for the league, this playthrough went pretty well, although the size of the region and lower amount of raid battles plus the amount of story quests did make it take a little longer than I thought it would.
