I've done some painting in oil before,

how do you do you background, is it all diluted burnt sienna with thin layers of titanium white?

The wolf, what colors did you used? Is it usually your style to use a build up of thin layers?

you are right about the background

and about the wolf, I use burnt sienna, burnt umber, and maybe a bit blue(prussian or indigo or what i can't remember)

with others oil paintings, I think mine is thinner
