I'm attempting for the artist alley, also thinking since Jag wont be there, doing a furry panel. Maybe even wander in to the panel in suit! Though SS might not like that, maybe I'll dig you out from where ever you are and have you be my handler on the way there :3

That would be cool. I only go to PortCon to hang out with folks anyway so it isn't like I would be doing anything else. What kind of panel were you thinking of doing?

Just a furry one. Kinda like an informative type thing, people can ask questions and such. Also helps for people to know that YES furries are at that con. Also want people to understand people who suit. Got some kids poking me in the eye, one bit my ear and over all were pulling on my suit last year. So I'd like to give them some information about suiters.

I actually have a sort of introduction to fandom packet thing I was working on over the last couple years and many of kage's "your first con" panels were recorded and posted to Youtube. It would probably make a good starting point to make sure the basics are covered.

The only issue with PortCon and furries lately is that the last few years (this year included) both cons fall on exactly the same weekend.
For most furs in Maine, if they have to choose between PortCon and AnthroCon... AC wins every time.

Yea, though I did find quite a few furs at PCM. But yea that's the down side, so I just try to cater to the ones that don't have the funds to make it to AC. But I'll look in to the youtube videos :3
