Vulpiri’s nimbi are not only visual manifestations of their magic, some of them have learned to use them as weapons. In Mae’s case she is able to transform her nimbus into sharp knives made of pure energy, a blazing light that cuts deep, leaving burn scars on opponent’s body and soul.
