Variel, a young hyena pirate (well, she tries) and now mercenary bit off a bit more than she could chew. What she assumed would be an easy job quickly turned out to be a nightmare. The fact that the small team was hiring mercenaries rather than asking for government assistance should have been a huge red flag, but she needed the money… By the time she found out they’d have to jump into a jungle, she had already signed the contract and was unable to get out of it. To make matters worse, they were jumping with old model gear which she wasn’t used to in addition to everything they’d need. Sleeping bags, tents, survival equipment, rations etc. etc. All parachuting into a dense jungle…

Definitely. Landing in a tree is one thing, but landing in a jungle while wearing your body weight in equipment is something else.
