Quicksand creates a vacuum when you get stuck in it, so even with just a foot caught in it, he's pretty darn stuck!

Quicksand actually terrifies me because it would be horrible to drown in D:

aside from the fact its impossible to drown in it IRL :p hell it takes work just to get neck deep. and you have to FORCE yourself down to get that deep :p.

Only way quicksand kills anyone is through exposure to the elements or if its low tide and you get stuck to where the tide will go over yer head. Even then takes just a simple bit of work to pull a limb out and spread yer bodyweight to get out. It isnt too bad.

Very wonderful work here, and quite the interesting planet he's found himself on. I think the look of shock is particularly neat with such a unique eye design. And the cloying way that the quicksand grips up his exposed leg really shows off nicely just how much of a hold it's got. Stuck indeed, and with a beast bearing down...what's to happen to our hero?
