Funny story: I went to a liberal arts school for the past eight years or so, and even within the student body there were people who would use that argument. It had other non-fine-art majors (performance, music, etc.), so I was really surprised when they'd actually go "oooo you throw paint at the wall and call it ART" when they were AT A FREAKING ART SCHOOL THEMSELVES.
The punchline: regardless of your major, you still had to take the same core art courses, which all required drawing ability. These goofballs were the same ones who later on in Life Drawing class complained when they couldn't get away with just drawing stick figures. CAN'T DANCE YOUR WAY OUTTA THIS ONE, BUCK-O.

The tone of this page is very serious and the expressions seem to help out with that.
I do like it when Ronnie starts to make fun of Cat's art classes because her pose and stance lightens the mood a little bit.
I was expecting a fight to break out or Ronnie to respond violently to Cat, but I guess that would have been a bit too much for the series.

I'm on Ronnie's side on this one. Like her, I know what it's like to work your tail off when you're in school while you know others are basically on easy street because their parent's pay for everything. You DO tend to become resentful toward those like Cat - it's hard not to. But I will say you also tend to know the value of a dollar more, and better appreciate what you have more than those who were basically given everything.
Course, you do realize that the high irony of it all is given their respective majors, they'll wind up seeing eye to eye when they both wind up sharing the same unemployment line when they graduate.
