Bub and Birdo

Killy the Fox has an art contest going, and decided to join in. Mostly for fun, cause I love the class Bubble Bobble, and the Puzzle Bobble 99 for N64. I tried one idea, which fell threw, wouldn't been done in time, plus wasn't feeling it. So, I started a new idea, which came out fast, and well. it was going to have Yoshi and Bob, but I decided to just go with Bub, and Birdo.
By the heart by Birdo's head, looks like HE is in love, and HE is over Yoshi. Bub has no idea, just fasinated by Birdo's egg in his bubble. (The caps on HE, are there, cause I know people are going to still say she. >< )
The background was a pisser, I hadn't done ink work since the Mario picture, felt like working with a colouring book. Getting the colours as aflat as I could, to mimic the NES graphics, did, and didn't work, but I am happy with it. Though not perfect.

I stand by the notion that Birdo is a she.
Of course, a popular Nintendo crossdresser would be nice!
In several newer mario games with Birdo, in Japan, he is still a he, in the US, and a few other places, they called him a girl.

Have to love the old games, even today with toutch screens, wireless controllers, and Cell Phones with Video games, the classics never loose the charm they had.

There are so many Birdos now though, and any one of them could be anything, but the original is a Transvestite boy. For he is, my Japanese Idol XP
But eh, there are many Birdos, the pink one is all people reallt remember. Even if it was the same sprite with differn't colours, were several other Birdos in the game. Like Yoshis.
It's kind of funny to think of either of them as having a gender though, as yoshi's and birdos both seem to produce eggs, despite they're suggested genders. And aparently neither through sexual means.
Though what I've heard, Mario two, wasn't actually Mario 2 originaly, they changed it in the American version to be Mario, Toad, Peach, and Luigi.
Maybe thinking too much into a game though XP Nah
According to wikipedia so was Birdo an transsexual male in the beginning who THOUGHT he was an female himself. But to not keep on with the confusionzzies ahead, so did Nintendo determine it should be 100% female. Even if it is hard to establish that oneself, likewise as yoshi XD
Nintendo of America did.
