A quickie that, like the last, popped into my head and asked me to draw it: my alter-ego, Heckfire, as a member of the Indigo Tribe from "Blackest Night." I'd been wanting to do this for the DA Lantern Corps (http://da-lantern-corps.deviantart.com) for a while, but I was wrestling with (amongst many, many MANY other problems) which Corps I'd belong to: I'm not particularly greedy, I have a temper but I'm no rage case, I'm more fearFUL than fearSOME, a quick look at my eBay stats proves I have NO willpower, I think I gave up on hope during that whole suicide thing last month, and I believe you actually have to be at least biologically female to be a Star Sapphire...which leaves the worst-defined Corps of them all, the Indigo Tribe, aka the Sociopathic Space Hippies.

And I don't think you technically HAVE to be female to be a Star Sapphire... who says only women are capable of pure love? >w> Then again, if *I* put a Violet ring on my Author Avatar, he'd have to be in Fem Mode... otherwise he'd wear a Green ring in Human Mode and Blue in Gundam Mode, and Spiral Impulse Gurren Lagann would wear Red(after all, righteous indignation is just rage kept on an idealistic leash).

so you can only come up with one sentence broadly referencing what the artist did, but you not only felt the need to waste a paragraph on what you'd want to do, but you felt you required not one, but FOUR of the most powerful artifacts in the DC universe to encompass what you feel you need other people to perceive you as.

At least I know what they represent, and can look upon them as metaphor rather than a simple vehicle for wish-fulfillment.
