Man, I am way behind on this comic. I better get cracking and get caught up.

that hologram projecting tablet looks awesome, I wish we had those :v And that part about how the planetary ring was made is a clever idea! Why waste good scrap metal, or take up valuable storage space on the planet surface when you can just store it in space, and give your planet a cool shiny necklace while you're at it x)

It took me a few tries to get that drawing right. I wanted to make something different from the usual sci-fi cliche where there is advanced technology, but holograms look all glitchy and monochrome. These aliens are obsessed with technology, so their holograms should have great resolution.

I asked for feedback on the first version, without the text, and it was not clear what was going on. I wanted to make sure it was a display and not an actual object in front of the character, so I made the little blocks forming the image.

yeah, I think adding the little building blocks leading to the holograms definitely helps to clarify things, and it also makes for a great visual effect!
