A sweet desert from the kitchens of  Teknopathetic A delicious and yummy item to finish of any meal or as a special afternoon delight.

A fruit brochette in a creamy caramel sauce that will make you dream of traveling.

1 banana
1/4 pineapple
2 or four skewers
2 Tablespoons water
1/4 cup sugar
1/2 cup whipping cream
1 cinnamon stick
1 star anise
Vanilla ice cream to serve

1. Peel and slice the banana, slice the thick flesh off the pineapple and slice into eight wedges and slice into 1/2 inch chunks. Skewer the fruit and set aside.

2. In a frying pan mix water and sugar. Swirl in the pan, Do not stir! As soon as the sugar caramelizes, add the whipping cream, cinnamon stick and star anise. Swirl until it all blends together.

3. Add the brochettes and spoon the sauce over the fruit to coat. Serve while still warm with ice cream, spoon the remaining sauce over to decorate, but remove the whole spices. Enjoy <3
