I have to really compliment you on this. This is a beautifull way to explain how people and werewolf are related.
Whenever a comic like this comes out and some uses something from the real world I really like to look in dept on how they explain things.
In my own world Werewolves exist as well. The once that bare them can freely change between their wolf form when they want with only the full moon being one that always happens regardless of the situation.
I love explainings of powers, lore and world rules. keep that up. Together with the art it's a good thing because I love story/comci that focus on more than just: Character meet up- sex- the end.
