Fun story:
When I used to live in ohio I had a REALLY junky P4 system that would lag up during CS:S sessions and overheat, I wrapped it all up in garbage bags, opened the basement window and stuck the whole tower outside. Perfect natural cooling and no lag issues.
Summer time sucked though.
