Here we have Matilda Wildingham on a treasure hunt. Some client requested for an old artifact in the depths of the jungle and she manages to find it... but at the same time finding that there's a catch.

Honestly, this is a case of just wanting a tf and suddenly having to come up with a backstory. Because as I write the explanation, I just figured of ways to make this story better (albeit, longer). Maybe if i remake this at some point and don't forget about it.
And now we've reached the end of this sequence :)

Well at least seem she didn't got the "dumb lizard" or "this temple is the home i swored to protect" treatment :)

Just realized she still had one human hand.
Dunno what would be best between staying like that looking slighty like a frankenstein, or letting the curse continue a tiny bit for the sake of not beign slighty deformed (but maybe at the risk worse effects might follow right after)
