Just tossing a progress shot out there. I am using a variation of the technique I used to paint Αυτο το Αστερι, by painting the highlights, colours and shading on one layer, but adding other elements like reflections in extra layers. Also, the background is its own layer.

Very nice! I notice it has a much 'cleaner', smoother style than your previous artwork - or perhaps this is the result of seeing it halfway finished.
