It's been a long time since I posted anything related to Thira! We're still working on it behind the scenes, but it's not stuff I would be willing to present to the public, at least not in such a rough shape x) And to be fair, we had way less time now due to some irl stuff we have going on, so Thira had to wait. But we're nearly done with that by now, which means we can go back to writing and drawing again :P

This was a random sketch of a random werewolf, but I liked how it turned out, so in the end I decided to make Kajirra's dad out of it! I actually finished a base for male werewolf characters few months back (you can see the original ref sheet of Liron right here), but truth be told, I wasn't satisfied with it. It looks a bit too anthro for my taste, and I imagined the male werewolves being bigger - not just in height, but size overall. Plus, we always liked them with the hunch, it just makes them look beastly. All those things are missing in the older base :') I used it anyway just so I can start designing characters already, but this sketch is far closer to what we always wanted. So yeah. I'll probably redo the bases again sometime in the future XD I can already hear  tomoefuchs singing...

Anyway, Kajirra's dad is actually one of the very few characters that never changed since their very first design. I guess you can see why. He's an ordinary big ass polar werewolf - the race that lives in the White North. His parents actually come from an Andersollian colony. Why did they move to Kroll, I wouldn't know XD But they did and Liron was already born there. He grew up in Kroll and stayed in Kroll with his wife, Mara, to raise their own pups; Kajirra and Liron junior. Liron is an extroverted guy who enjoys a friendly banter, but is otherwise quite reserved and keeps his private life private. Opening up and talking about his feelings is something that is unfortunately utterly foreign to him, but that doesn't mean he doesn't care - he is notorious for going above and beyond for those he cares about. Despite his large size, he's a hardcore pacifist who avoids any kind of conflict if possible. His temperament is phlegmatic, and he could surely be best described as easygoing above all. He's also surprisingly smart and knowledgeable in many different fields, but years of traveling around Thira (and personal interest) made geography his number one specialty. If you need to know anything about the faraway lands, be it geological or political, Liron is the one to ask.
