Kylie looked worried as Katniss walked back in. There had been talk about permanent proof that Kylie was owned by Katniss and Kylie was scared of what "permanent" entailed. Katniss sighed as she sat in her chair and looked at Kylie. Katniss allowed the awkward silence to drag on for a few minutes to slightly tease Kylie. "well Kylie... I don't think I'm going to mark you more than a collar" Katniss said reluctantly "you're just too... too... you are only going to hear this once... too precious to ruin your beauty". Katniss slightly smiled "as long as you remember your place there won't be any permanent markings on you". Kylie beamed with joy "THANK YOU!!!" she screamed. Katniss glared "I have a migraine... try to keep it down please". Kylie blushed as she looked on in remorse "sorry ma'am" she said hanging her head.

Katniss sighed and patted Kylie's head "good girl". Katniss smirked and stood up "wait here," she said sternly to Kylie as she walked out of the room. She returned after a few moments with a cookie in hand. Kylie started to get restless and started to move "ah ah ah... don't," Katniss said. "you wait till I give it to you," Katniss said sitting back down "or no treats". "y-y-yes ma'am" Kylie replied quickly. The food that Kylie was given normally wasnt... bad, per se... but it wasn't exactly full of flavor either... and this caused her to drool slightly as she eyes the cookie.

Katniss chuckled at the sight of Kylie practically melting at the sight of the cookie. "can you beg me for it?" Katniss said jokingly. However, Kylie tilted her head and gave puppy dog eyes "PWEASE???" she said cutely. Katniss broke a piece of the cookie off and fed it to Kylie "you are kinda cute... I mean average... but still... kinda cute" she said... obviously not what she thought but she was still trying to be strict and remind Kylie of her place. Kylie beamed with joy as she chewed and ate the cookie piece. Katniss broke off another piece "and slightly a good girl..."

"to be honest you're on another tier than the other slaves," Katniss said staring at the fire. Kylie smiled confused "what's that mean". Katniss sighed "you better listen because I'm only saying this one time sweetheart... you listening?". Kylie nodded quickly. "you are more than a slave to me... like a treasure... or a pet... Like something I REALLY need. Something I cannot let go or get rid of" Katniss sighed "you're special to me" she said turning to Kylie.

Kylie beamed "really?" she asked hopefully. Katniss only slightly nodded in response "don't misbehave though or I will mark you and you will have a lot more restraint in life" she said looking back to the fire. "you can behave for me can't you darling?" Katniss said. Kylie was wondering what happened to Katniss because she was being a lot nicer today... but it was a welcome sight. "Yes ma'am" she replied as she sat on the floor beside Katniss. Katniss sat there for a few moments "fetch a hairbrush, please, girl" Katniss said gently.

"yes ma'am... I'll be right back" Kylie shot up and rushed out of the room and came back after a few moments with the hairbrush in her hands. She handed it to Katniss and turned but felt Katniss grab her wrist "sit down" she commanded motioning to the floor in front of her. Kylie sat down and Katniss gently brushed Kylie's hair. Katniss slowly hummed a tune as she brushed Kylie's hair and Kylie started to feel sleepy. After a few moments Katniss leaned close to Kylie "come here" she said, then leaned back and patted the couch beside her "lay your head in my lap". Kylie obeyed and laid down. Katniss played with Kylie's hair gently and Kylie began to doze off "it's ok" Katniss said, "you just go to sleep and I'll be here when you wake up, my good girl". Kylie smiled as her body relaxed and she fell asleep
