Most of the time I showcase Swadeaqua as sexual, seductive and confident, and not a victim. When a Mewthree awakens their dazed brain tries to assemble into whatever they were programmed to be. All the other Mewthrees' programs/designs were respected, but hers was not. The person responsible made her into a shell, where sexual cravings, thoughts and experiences were suppose to be the "norm", and this trampled on her programmed notions of love, intimacy and companionship. Swadeaqua had her heart broken within hours of greeting the world, having equated her first sexual encounter to love, and not knowing why she felt so empty inside, all that she was used, not cared for, and too immature to understand what had happened. Deep inside, she's just a little kid. It may seem like I blame Swadeaqua for her nature, but it always came down to the bastard who programmed that part of her. She never was able to fight it and the programming won out, the ultimate violation to any potential she could have had.
Anyway... For the actual art, did a sketch, scanned and lined in Illustrator. This picture was definitely the art of layers and texturing and while I wish the water effects were a bit more obvious, I love being able to use my visual knowledge and play with reflections properly. Think the 3D rendering I've been doing has helped with that.
