Had to dig out this morning as several inches of snowfall overnight here in mid-Michigan. Almost cancelled on attending the annual gun/knife show downtown today. As I cleared the snow out by hand, but it was light stuff. The lock on my shed was iced up so the snow-thrower was inaccessible. I hoped for a sign that indicated that the roads were passable. My slacker neighbor went out for smokes and returned in about 15 minutes.
Arrived at the hotel ballroom an hour later than planned, but that was okay as I was able to park in the hotel lot. When attending such events, it's good strategy to have some plan as to what you want and what you can expect to pay, so you're not shocked when you see primers are $100 a brick. Do a circuit or two of the floor before making a purchase. Save the heavy stuff for when you're done for the day. Making the rounds, there was the usual overpriced stuff. I talked to several vendors and exhibitors and found some needed parts and components that seemed a good deal. One of my brothers even surprised me with a visit.
Saw a Henry AR-7 for $250 new IIRC.
