An interesting concept. Nice to see the details like the glowing parts of the interior or the water dripping off.

The dripping water was a last-minute addition, I think it helped a bit to connect the subject and the background.
The glowy bits were added to give an impression of a control panel, they are probably some bioluminescent status LEDs. (no idea why a creature connected directly to the host would need them, but eh)
