This was honestly one of my favorite characters (alongside a green colored Red Panda named Omi that Omai was meant to be paired with) created by Chai.

So imagine my elation when I saw she was putting the two of them up for adoption. I knew I needed to get them.

Alongside a ref that came after I bought them (which my file was seemingly too big for FA, but you can still find the ref over on Chainilla's page), this was the newest piece to join the Omi and Omai art at the time.

The outfit is based on some human art Chai did of Omi and Omai. The colors of her clothes were originally gonna be in her furry colors, but they made her look, yeah, nude (nothing wrong with that, but I do plan on getting nude art of Omai now that she's in my posession). So we changed it to red (I was super close to putting her in purple, though).

So yeah.
