As far as I know, it can be drugs or nondrugs. And it's more like a smokey or watervapory thing.
I don't really know, I don't do hookah :P

well a friend of mine said that, as an example, it can put the taste of strawberry or something in your mouth, depending on what you smoking

Yeah, think of flavored smoke, really.

a hookah is used for smoking flavored tabacco called shisha that is slowly burn by a cole that sits above it. the smoke is pulled threw water at the base. there some people who use it for drugs. i dont cause for one there bad. and two it will ruin the hookah. once you smoke drugs out of it it u wont be able to get the tast of them out of the hookah cause it causes a resin build up that is extremely hard to clean out.
