They're awesome, lots of stuff adding QoL stuff, but other things that add new items. I believe I remember one of my favorites to be Firearms 41, since it adds weapons that fit into the lore, instead of Brita's pack where you find all sorts of crazy modern weapons tricked out with parts in PD's and houses dfjkghdfjkghdfjk
Of course! I really just recommend flipping through the workshop, there's a LOT of neat stuff on there, a personal favorite is the expanded helicopter events, which adds occasional helicopter drops (and a helicopter that flies around shooting at you) -- all of these things of course able to be tweaked to allow or disallow things, it's awesome.
