So in the Halfcut Islands (and later similar places) even feral animals (at least non-native ones) are affected. So this results in the rather silly scene you see here: a halfcut rancher on a halfcut horse lassoing a halfcut cow! With halfcut sheep watching and halfcut chicken roaming nearby. (How many times can I say halfcut in one submission?)

A while ago I was thinking about how halfcut life would work in other ways beyond a few scattered islands on Earth, such as ranching, for use in a story. And with  Cervelet’s help and artistic skills, this is what was thought up! It’s very silly, but very plausible for the scenario!
