That's a good tip. I was going to get a deluxe and a non-deluxe for filming props so I could throw one, but maybe I should spend $10 more and just get two deluxe ones of different colors... Decisions Decisions.

I wouldn't recommend throwing the deluxe disk as its mostly made of plastic. If you do you'll want to throw it toward a padded area. And they don't stay lit for long at all. They sorta just flash. What were you going to do film wise?

No, no, I wasn't going to throw the deluxe one. I wrote my previous post poorly. My original intention was to get the very frisbee like $10 one they have and throw it, but it doesn't match the deluxe ones close enough even for film.

We spoof a lot of different things. We have this one sci-fi spoof that follows a sort of Star Trek format but all sci-fi shows and movies are fair game content wise. It also is a place to use all sorts of old sci-fi toys like phasers and tricorders and lightsabers and what not. We're going to do a time travel plot and use the Sam Flynn and Rinzler discs as time travel devices. I couldn't find a Kevin Flynn locally or for cheap or I'd conveniently have "past, present and future" discs.

That's pretty cool actually. I've always wanted to make videos and things like that but I'm no good at it.

I don't know if I'd say we're great at it, we just do it as our preferred form of socialization. (shrugs)

That would be so awesome! A really good site i'm at is the rpf forums and they have a thread with a ton of tron costume making it's really good and some peoples costumes are awesome. Good thread to check out. Can give you the link if your interested. For the lights try looking for el wire and el tape real popular to use for tron costumes and stuff and i think there's also some thing called el paper as well.

No i don't attend to the Atlanta con. Me and my orka only attend FC (Further Confusion) and RF (RainFurrest). Do you attend any others ? Glad you had a good time. :) I've only been to 2 Fur cons and they are a blast especially FC....amazing best time ever!!
