Another entry for Flashback Month. Here we see Vector Mark's wife, Mayflower. She's a botanist, taking care of the public gardens and parks in Fillydelphia. She grew up on a farm not too far away from the city, but the nearest school happened to be in the city. But even within this urban environment, her love for plants never went away. Her peers mocked her for that, calling her "Dirty May", for it wasn't uncommon to see her apron covered in dirt. This is also the place where she met Vector. At the time, he had a lot of trouble with reading and writing, finding the "illogical" way Ponish spelling works difficult to get a grasp upon. He saw the hard work she was putting in her hobby, and was the first who actually showed respect for that instead of contempt (and she didn't know it at the time, but he was irresistibly attracted to her strongly radiating emotional energy). She decided to help him with getting a grip on the language, while he would join her with gardening. It was during these gardening chores that they grew closer to each other, and their friendship grew to romantic love and they decided to get married. They also went through numerous of books together, as she is an avid reader, and there hasn't been a sci-fi or fantasy pulp novel she hasn't read (she loves how cheesy these books are).
When Vector lost his memory, the news hit very hard at first. She feared she had lost him forever, but to her relief, the pony she knew was still in there, and she was determined to get him back on track. It turned out not memory was lost, as he seemed to remember how to take care of the plants in their garden as she had taught him years ago. Even after she discovered his true nature, she didn't leave his side. After all, even though Vector had (unintentionally) hidden his true identity from her, the love between them had always been genuine...
