A gift for  DorjeTheStego (a kind and very smart, deep guy I've met recently and been chatting to about some really interesting topics like hippie culture and music, how important vultures are to Tibetan Buddhist culture and some really cool sights he's seen with his drone :D) of Scrabber and Dorje (his stegosaurus sona ) vibing to the psychedelic band Shpongle that I've been listening to a fair bit this month after he introduced me to it. 😵‍💫

Since Dorje has a shaman side judging by some art of him I've seen, it felt fitting to draw him in his shaman gear here - while Scrabber's closest are some shorts, an eye key necklace and bracelets similar to what I own in real life. :D I also included the mask that is the symbol of Shpongle.

Dorje was very cool to draw, and I enjoyed working on this and putting in the effects- I hope you like it! :D

And yes, I was listening to Shpongle while working on this. :D There is something very relaxing about their style, and I recommend checking them out ;) I think the wanderlust in me has found the perfect band - it reminds me a lot of a compilation of the Global Journey CDs I really liked as a teenager, and even though I've never experienced psychedelics myself, there is a certain vibe to the style of the music that is really calming and puts me in a state of zen - I've even had it playing at work a few times and my coworkers have come to really like it! :D
