I still can't figure out why you think you're bad at them, since every time you do them it comes out fine.

A big part of it is that I can't distinguish one animal from another. I can draw a general furry, but I can't draw a specific animal. just weird humans with random animal features attached.

Another thing is that I HAVE NO IDEA HOW TO OPEN THEIR MOUTHS!! I'm so used to doing the animu "face painted onto solid object" thing. I don't really know how to morph the face.

The first part is true of so many popular furry artists that I don't even see why it's such a big deal... though it should be worked on. I'll bring over some animal books so we can practice it.

The second part is an interesting issue... though there are artists, of the more 'anime' background, who actually do that with furries: they have an outline of an animal's face from various angles that they can paste an open mouth onto. I can either help you figure out how to do that or help you with the open-mouth face shape. I want to work on art while I'm over either way.
