He's almost an adult here… About 15. He looks a bit too old in this drawing to fit in the story, though. This pretty much started as a random sketch, then I altered it to fit into the story line of the book. More of a concept piece than anything else.

It originally started off as a sketch of him leaning up against a railing. It was just a quick sketch, I really didn't intend to make it into anything. I was just doodling on the tablet, trying out different tools to see what they did. I altered it about halfway through, and made it into a concept page for one of the books I've written. I would change a few things in the final art.

But I was otherwise bored, and decided to partially finish it out.

Haven't yet. The story needed a little makeover- it was originally written as a thesis project, and the premise was a little thin. I wanted the characters to be more three dimensional than they were in the original book, I wanted them to have more significant problems to overcome.

You'll have to wait for the book to come out! :p
