My dad sent me another letter and in it was this awesome picture of Spyro that he drew with colored pencils.
He'll be doing more drawings as he has time so I'll post more on here since he'll probably be doing fan art and furry stuff :3

My dad loves to draw. He used to draw for the military and he's been drawing since he was little. My grandma was a painter so he learned a lot from her and I learned from him.
He's drawing a police themed picture for a past commissioner of mine but it'll probably take awhile.

Pause the game and press Up, Up, Left, Left, Right, Right, DOwn, Down, Square, Circle, Square
When you hear a chime you know you have the code in correctly. Theres also other codes on that site like changing Spyro's colors and making him 2-D.

That's awesome. x3 My mom used to like to draw, but she was never what she would call an "artist". And my dad probably has never doodled in his life. xD And on up down the line, there is still no one. Not even any of my cousins draw. x3 I am so used to being alone in it that the idea of having another artist in the same family is amazing to me!
My dad (who visits on Sundays) and younger brother (he's 15, has been pretty much working on a comic non-stop) draw whenever they have a moment free, which is pretty much all the time! XD My mum used to draw, but since she's occupied with so much stuff she never has the time to.
My sisters draw too, well, the youngest one anyway (she's 9, older one ,12 dosen't as much). Whenever she does draw she often does a picture, dosen't even bother to finish it and then does a new one, resulting in a huuuge pile of paper! :P
I mostly do MS paint drawings and edits of movie posters/game boxart etc..., (well, I did, until Vista started refusing to function properly) as well as pencil sketches. I've tried a little bit of photoshop, but the only tool I can get my head around is the "warp" function (Only edit I managed to make a photo of a happy looking Chef into an evil-looking, pointy eared goblin-thing!), every other function confuses me at the moment! @.@

LOL, actually, that reminds me a lot of myself...
Photoshop took me several years to understand, don't worry. x3 And, I took a class on it in college, although at that point, I already knew most of what they were teaching there. x3
An excellent [and cheaper!] program you may want to look into is OpenCanvas! I use it to ink all of my drawings. If it could handle painting large files, I'd use it for entire pieces! But unfortunately, I do need Photoshop to color, still. x3
