Not actually based on her character model from Sonic Prime, but I like to imagine a similar sort of situation that Sonic had in that show: getting transported to different kind of universes where everything has a theme. In this case, Rouge is the one that ended up taking multiverse trips, but she landed in the prehistoric era, and immediately gets chased by a massive stegosaurus.
