This is the view outside my window. this is the typical scene before we end up getting a huge snow storm. Beautiful clear skies and sunny weather... but really fucking cold. when I took this it was 35 degrees out, but very windy so with wind chill it feels like 27. tonight suppose to get down to 25 and then tomorrow's high is 33 so we'll see what happens :3
This is Mt Hood as seen from the bedroom window at sunset. only photoshop in this image is my name in the corner no enhancements.
Image is in HD 720p I do have a 1080p version as well.

Well from the Oregon coast you can't see the Cascades because of the coastal mountains. Oregon has 3 main mountain regions, the coastal mountains, the Cascades and then the Blue mountains/Wallaowa mountains to the very far east. Oregon is a strange place because where I'm looking at Mt Hood, all that land is lush and green and quite wet (very dry now) but when you drive past Mt Hood, the other 2/3rds of Oregon becomes a very dry and rocky/brushy desert. I believe that part of Oregon receives more sunlight per year than California.
Actually no, in the Willamette Valley everything is very very wet, you aren't really suppose to ride bikes and you pretty much are banned form horse riding (on public land/trails) because the ground is so wet and soaked that bikes, and especially horses will ruin the trails. like the field across the street for example, if you walk across the grass most of the year you will sink down in like a half an inch of wet. the Cascades are very dry because they stay cold. but right now most of Oregon is frozen over. I think the highest temps at the moment are at the coast at like 37 degrees.
