A bass would have 4 strings normally, guitars have 6, but it could just as easily be a 6-stringed bass as suggested by a couple others.

Regardless it looks good, that's a good looking Floatzel, too.

It will be helpful as future reference anyway, I mostly know because of games like Rock Band myself, and maybe a few concerts I've gone to. I'm not really a musician either.
