Sketch - Kobold Calamity: Jungle Prowlers
Deep in the Jungle,
Where Warmbloods fear,
Beware what you bungle,
Or lose all held dear.
For here live Kobolds,
Not tall nor fair,
Wanting not for golds,
Only meat rare.
The hunter sniffs,
The hunter seeks,
Back to the cliff,
You won’t be seen for weeks.
If you manage a howl,
Or a longing moan,
You’ll be only bone,
For in the Jungle they prowl…

Here’s a sketch I had an absolute blast with, also from last December. This was inspired by a lot of the old, gritty fantasy art, as well as pulp covers.
Nickel-Cat_Engine said that this feels like it could be on the cover of some ancient tabletop game manual, which is the exact feel I was going for! Hope you all enjoy!
