Sketch - Holt, Treasure Hunter Extraordinaire!
“Hey there, friend! Heard of the Seven Jewels of Aman’mog? No? Well, no harm done then! I just pawned em’ off to a fella with a handsome coin purse - the perfect thing to fill my handsome appetite! Say, you haven’t heard of any other digsites, dungeons, or unguarded treasure troves, have ya? Hm? Excellent! As thanks for the rumor, I wanted to ask… have you ever heard of an “all-you-can-eat” buffet? Because I’ve got a real hankering right now, and you look like the type who would love that… What do you say - it’d be my treat!”

On the urging of both my friends and the nagging thought at the back of my mind, I’ve decide to dedicate Saturdays to be my new “Sketch Dump Saturday!” This seems like the perfect thing to get posting back up and running, as well as share simpler sketches and ideas!
I’m quite happy with this one! I think this may’ve been my very first sketch of the year - at the very least, it’s the first drawing in my new sketchbook. Here we have a fantasy version of my wolf fursona, Holt, as a daring, doughy treasure hunter! He hasn’t got time for high-minded ideals about persevering loot - he’s got hungry mouths to feed! Er- maybe just one hungry mouth, but it sure as heck eats for four!

Quite a haul, overall! Hundreds of pieces, from far and wide. He tends not to dwell on the specifics though - to the highest bidder, it all must go! Aside from one, private piece - a glimmering jewel affixed to his pickax, all that remains of a forgotten love.
