This is Ethan's mother and father, or Marks Father ( the Father character is a character I will re-use a lot)

Ethan's father is Mark Steelheart ( the first name might be different I change it a lot). He became a high-ranking military noble in the kingdom and soon became the Golden Dragon king's "Royal Flush" for leading the armies.

Ethan's father, a young adult, met Nala when she was immigrating to the new country. Nala is an "Adaptive Kitsune" which means she appears more human than regular kitsune. She was a highly skilled monk, and Mark was amazed by her skill and beauty. Once she entered, she learned that sometimes, relationships can happen through combat with some nobles of the country.
Mark was one of these nobles that asked to challenge Nala for the "courtship by combat", in which you could marry someone if you win. Mark lost a lot, and Nala was impressed with his determination.

Needless to say she married the man and truly fell in love with him. Though he is still human, she has some herbs and techniques to help extend his life and slow his ageing.
Won't deny Ethan's father does get a good workout with Nala, which still keeps him at the top of his game.
