Eventually we're going to grow up.
Actually we're just going to keep shooting each other.
I keep trying to think of new taglines for the US, chime in if you've got a few:
America: Good Job.
America: Disagreement With My Personal Beliefs Means You Will Meet My Weapons Collection
America: Where Whites Are Always "Disgruntled/Mentally Ill"
America: Our National Anthem Ends On A Question And For Good Reason
America: Guns And Mental Illness Go Hand In Hand
America: Fuck Yeah!

We'll have to see what the US does in the next 7 days. Either we go back to the way we have been for the past 2 years or there's going to be a major paradigm shift in the way politics is talked about from a top-down level. My money is on people continuing to shoot others because they hold different opinions. It's 'Merican.
Media media media. This week, especially with the return of radio talk shows, afternoon network news programs and people's mass access to blogs, will be influential. When I used to work for CNN (2004-2007) weekends, no matter what story broke, were slow. It's be the following Monday when all the developments and proper spread of information to the public began.
