*another close up!
Nessie is a baby Loch Ness Monster! Her head and flippers are made with super sculpey, painted in craft acrylic and sealed in hardcoat modge podge. Her eyes are green glass marbles. The soft stuff you see on her sculpted parts is flocking. Her body is made from hand sewn fleece, with some gluing and painting. She is stuffed with plush stuff and poly pellets (beanie things!) there is wire in her neck and tail for posing - her neck and head are weighted down with a fishing weight inside the body attached to the wire supporting the neck.
Her design is based on dinosaurs and seals.
She is NOT for sale. My first official doll, Taquito, was given to my sister, Nessie is my second, and I need to keep ONE of my first dolls! Nessie will be staying with me for the time being :3

I think that means that you did a fantastic job.
Also question... The marbles you used as the eyes, are those oven safe? Since you said the head is sculpey, and sculpey only seems to harden in the oven.
You are making leaps and bounds with these.
She is so cute, sweet is definitely the best word to describe her. I can't wait to see what other creations you come up with!
