so it depends on the kind of flavor profile the tea is taking on. i have alot of nuttier teas and i really enjoy red teas, like rooibos's. so i have one called "walnut shortbread" and that tea is amazing with brown sugar. it makes it taste much like a snickerdoodle. also im not a huge fan of them because of the cloves, but chai teas sweetened with brown sugar are also very good.
