Did you even look at the file size? Its a whooping 53kB. Just because its flash doesn't mean it is ginormous. For it to be smaller in a gif, it would have to be 3 frames or less, any more and the flash is smaller file-wise. (I took a screen shot, and saved a frame of his animation as a .gif file, 16kB/frame)
