#TheLiberationPledge 🐥🌱
I took The Liberation Pledge this past month, an official act of symbolism and species solidarity. My husband (who is a carnist yet very supportive) handmade the fork bracelet for me, and the paw themed ring was a gift for X-mas. So sweet. ^.=.^

If you're interested in the "why" behind vegan I recommend watching Dominion, and if you'd like to try going vegan for yourself for free check out Challenge 22! For those who are skeptical, I highly recommend checking out Your Vegan Fallacy Is...
P.S. If you'd like a "End Speciesism" bracelet like mine, you can join PETA SOS for free (and if you're not a member of Gen Z, you can join PETA's Action Team!)

Unfortunately, many people seem to have a Carnism (I highly recommend viewing the links I've attached to learn more about the ideologies I'm discussing) bias demonstrating otherwise - the statement I used is intended to bring attention to one's own personal biases towards Speciesisim (according differential weight to similar interests based on species); for example: unfortunately the typical person will still eat a turkey on a holiday dinner, despite perhaps having met one in a casual setting in the past, disregarding the fact they are eating the corpse of a murder (and unfortunately r*pe) victim). I urge you to visit this link to learn more in-depth about how turkeys in the animal agriculture industry are treated as a standard practice, my inbox is always open as well. Thanks for the comment. ^.=.^
I'm afraid it's all about food habits of certain people groups. Like, in my area people don't eat turkey, but we eat duck, chicken, goose... Actually anything that is able to run. Some regions eat dog meat and it seems to be okay. Let's just say, if we (I mean the folk in the place I come from) go vegan because we're sorry for that poor chicken we should have had for dinner we'll just starve lol
I understand what you're trying to say, if it's any comfort vegan foods are actually really cheap, only expensive if you buy all the fancy "sold to vegans" stuff! Potatoes, Rice, Tofu, Beans, Lentils, Veggies, Fruits, Pasta, Oats, are incredibly cheap, especially in bulk! This guy has a great video on it: click. Feel free to message me anytime, too! ^.=.^
Meatless for 27 years, have always been disappointed in the way PETA conducts business.
Always personally saw the organization itself as shady and intolerant.
Reducing our dependence on meat is highly important for a wide variety of reasons - but I understand the nuance that many animals including some humans may need animal protein, and that there are lifestyle and dietary needs that differ from mine.
I will not be shaming or judging or using unkind "othering" names or phrases - only celebrating and supporting positive steps and acknowledging that its better that we all make the small changes we can rather than go for an all-or-nothing mindset. : )

Thank you for the kind words, friend! I respect what you've said, I'm currently taking an internship program with the Factory Farming Awareness Coalition to help me learn how to better myself as an activist. I highly recommend watching Breaking the Chain (it's available free on Tubi) if you'd like to learn more about #TheRealPeta. Thanks again for commenting, I appreciate hearing your thoughts, and being a hero for the animals! Feel free to message me anytime. ^.=.^
