Reflections of the Soul (Part 1) by Grey Shaman
I've been doing a bit of soul-searching over the last few months and... I think I may be bigender. It's been a lot to process and a lot to learn, but that term seems to fit the best. So, when I saw Graywildwolf open up for commissions, the way she creates reflections within her artwork was just so inspiring. I asked her if she could do a couple pieces for me, one with my male self looking to my inner female and one with my female self looking to my inner male. I gave her the freedom to play with the scene and poses, and, well, she went above and beyond! Between the two images, she incorporated symbolism that hit just right and expressed more than what I had even alluded to. The shift in tone from part one to part two fits so very well. Everything is feeling a bit brighter now that I've started to let my feminine side bloom. ^_^
